Consider how long you are planning for visiting and activities before the main course. If there is a lot of time there to fill, have more appetizers. More people of course means more appetizers.
You can’t have too much food!
And if you have leftovers it’s kind of great because after hosting and cleaning up after everyone you’re probably going to be pretty burnt out. Having a couple days of party leftovers can really help you relax more in the days following- which you will very much deserve.
