Growing up, it was common to walk into the bathroom or kitchen and smell bleach. It was such a common household product that I was shown how to “safely” use it when I was in sixth grade to clean the bathroom.
Thankfully, when we know better, we do better and that will not be the case when it comes to teaching my children how to clean, they will know how to properly use non-toxic household cleaners.
If you’re short on cash but have plenty of bills to pay, then you may be worried enough to just start ripping your hair out.
However, before you do that, you should try something a little more constructive. Try to prioritize your monthly debt obligation
There is a possibility that your anxiety has nothing to do with your diet. Totally. If your anxiety is a product of a very traumatic experience, maybe it’s 100% a mental disorder. There is no real solid way to determine the cause of an anxiety disorder, unfortunately, because there are so many possible causes. There’s a chance that improving your diet won’t help. But there is also a (good, I believe) chance that it could help. Anxiety is complex, our bodies are complex. I have been absolutely convinced, through experience, that my diet directly affects my anxiety.
The holidays have become a time of great stresses and budget busters, partially caused by materialism.
Don’t get me wrong, I love getting gifts and having material objects as much as the next person. However, I personally feel that such a huge focus on material objects greatly detracts from the spirit of the season – loving and appreciating the gifts and people we have in our lives.
When I first became a new stay-at-home mom, I imagined a relaxing vacation every day.
Sure, my baby would need me, but I would have plenty of time to exercise, pursue hobbies, and unwind while she took long, regular naps.
Instead, I felt overwhelmed and depressed, lost my identity, and struggled to take regular showers for the first 4-5 months.
I have seven kids.
That means six different times I’ve brought a baby home from the hospital and have had to go through the transition of the “baby” no longer being the “baby.” Not once have I ever had a problem with the newly displaced “baby” have a “new blessing” take over his spot. As in never.
Before we can have an honest conversation about how to stop wasting food, we need to look at some statistics. Did you know that just one quarter of all wasted food could feed the 795 million undernourished people around the world who suffer from hunger (source)?? What about the fact that In the USA, 30-40% of the food supply is wasted, equaling more than 20 pounds of food per person per month (source)?

It’s 3 am and you’re googling “tips to get baby to sleep” or “when will my baby sleep through the night”? Maybe you’ve been awake for about 76.3 hours without even a moment of sleep.
Or maybe you’ve just spent 2 hours bouncing and praying and walking, and he finally closed his eyes. You placed him in his crib and silently climbed into bed. Just as you were closing your eyes, you hear him start to fuss, and the only thing left to do is burst into hysterical tears. (Been there!)

At least for me it’s certainly been the most difficult thing. I would go as far as to say that my life has been controlled by anxiety over my baby’s sleeping. I don’t know why, but since the day he was born I have been distraught about his sleep.
