Bonoch Baby Carrier – An Honest Review

This blog post is in cooperation with bonoch. All opinions are my own. You can read our full disclosure policy here.

Juggling a toddler and a newborn is tough! When we started looking for a new baby carrier, I knew it had to be something that could fit our newborn, but also easily convert to carry our 2 year old. After trying out the bonoch Baby Carrier, I can honestly say it’s been a game-changer for us!  It’s comfy, easy to use, and we can seamlessly go from wearing our newborn with no neck control, to wearing our wiggly 2 year old son.

As soon as I opened the box, I could tell how sturdy the bonoch carrier felt. It didn’t feel bulky, but felt well-crafted, definitely sturdy enough to easily handle my toddler’s weight.

I stopped wearing my 25 month old toddler months ago when I was pregnant with his younger brother. When my husband attempted to wear him months later, he acted like he was afraid he’d fall, and refused to even try to sit in our baby carrier.

I figured our time to wear him had simply passed and didn’t think about it again.

That is until I had our newborn baby and remembered how hard it is to juggle a toddler and a newborn at the same time.

The first time I wore the bonoch Baby Carrier, I knew we’d found the right option for our situation.

My toddler hasn’t been worn in months, but is comfortable enough in this carrier that he happily sits in it for hours while at an amusement park. I expected he’d prefer our stroller, but he actually asks to get into the bonoch Baby Carrier!

I thought I’d only wear him in the baby carrier when we were out and about. Instead, I find myself wearing him around the house while I do random chores and spend time with our older kids.

I don’t feel like I have to use my hand to hold his head securely to me when I bend over to pick something up.

It truly feels like I have full use of my hands and arms when I’m wearing our newborn – something I didn’t expect from a baby carrier after past experiences.

Super Easy to Adjust!

One of my favorite things about this carrier is how easy it is to adjust.

Whether I’m switching between my newborn and my 2 year old or just taking my baby out to nurse him, it’s a quick process with fewer straps and snaps than the carrier we owned before.

The magnetic buckles have been a lifesaver. I noticed this immediately when trying to juggle my toddler while also trying to get my baby out of the wearer and into his car seat. I am able to release the snap with one hand, so I don’t have to let go of my toddler’s hand!

I can’t overstate here how amazing the magnetic buckles are. If you are used to traditional buckles, I’m confident you will be as blown away as I was at what a difference this makes in the baby carrier’s usability.

I don’t need my husband to help me adjust it, I can tighten the straps and manage the snaps with one hand. It really is that easy.

I truly wish I’d found the bonoch Baby Carrier sooner. I’m used to struggling to get the right fit with baby carriers and eventually needing to ask my husband to help me. I thought that was just standard with baby wearing. Now I realize what a difference an easy-to-adjust baby carrier makes.

Made of Breathable Fabric

We live in a warm climate and wearing a carrier for long periods can be extremely hot and uncomfortable. Not to mention the strain that baby carriers can put on your back.

The bonoch Baby Carrier is made of soft, breathable fabric that keeps us comfortable for hours, even when wearing it in the Florida heat.

Plus, this one has a wide, padded waistband that adds extra support without feeling too bulky.

My husband and I have both worn the bonoch Baby Carrier several times and we agree that the waistband is super comfortable, even though we have very different frames.

Perfect for Multiple Ages

When we were looking for a baby carrier, it was important to us that it be versatile enough for us to wear our newborn and our toddler.

I wear my newborn inward-facing every time he’s in the bonoch baby carrier.

My 2 year old sometimes prefers to be worn inward-facing, but most often he likes to be outward-facing or even worn in the back carry position when my husband is wearing him.

The bonoch Baby Carrier has an EaseFit Knob that tightens to ensure the right fit.

This adjustable knob allows me to quickly customize our carrier to fit our little ones’ growth at different stages. Whether our newborn needs extra support, or our toddler requires a more spacious fit as he grows, the knob ensures they are snug and comfortable.

When I’m ready to transition between kids or just take my baby out of the carrier, I simply pull it and it releases. This feature ensures the product adapts seamlessly to our babies’ changing needs.

Perfect for Busy Families

As a busy homeschooling mom of 6, I was worried about how we would adjust to life with a newborn. I didn’t know if I’d have to miss out on the newborn snuggles so I could focus on my older kids or if the rest of our kids would take a backseat to the newborn in our home.

Now, my morning includes waking up and serving our kids breakfast, nursing our newest addition, and then strapping him in the bonoch Baby Carrier while I start our homeschool routine.

I don’t have to choose between missing out on bonding with the baby while he’s in a swing or falling behind on our curriculum plans with our older kids.

Having a sturdy, comfortable baby carrier gives me the flexibility I need to juggle all of my responsibilities while still enjoying newborn baby smells and cuddles.

I’m truly impressed with the ease and convenience of the bonoch Baby Carrier and can confidently say it has simplified my life both in our home doing chores and while out and about. I didn’t realize how hectic our days had become until I tried this carrier and don’t have to worry about finding a place to put my newborn when one of our other children needs my immediate attention. Now I can’t imagine my daily routine without it. It really is worth every penny!
