Why Plan Party Games for Kids
Party games can be so fun and silly. Whether you are planning a huge party or a small one, I’m sure you will find all the games you need on this list. Some are for outdoors so perfect for spring or summer, while most can be inside. Lots of them even come with free printables making your party planning a breeze.
Party games can be especially helpful when not all of the kids in attendance know each other. Think of party games as one big ice breaker.
Now I’m actually not one to plan a bunch of party games usually. Not to say that myself or my kids don’t ENJOY party games, but they always seemed like a lot of work. But I can honestly say that after putting this post together, I’m rethinking that mindset.
So many of these games seem so simple to set up, you literally just click in and print and hand stuff out. And a friend of mine pointed out that even though it SEEMS like a lot of work planning out party games, you then have so much free time at the party once you get the kids going with their games.
And let’s be honest, sometimes watching kids enjoy their party games is hilarious. It’ll make memories for you and for them that last a lifetime.
I prefer the party games that are easy peasy like water bottle bowling, all I have to do is set it up once and the kids will set it up to play again and again. Or some of the free printables like BINGO or Pin the Horn on the Unicorn.
But if you want awesome games with more complicated set-ups I’ve found some of those too like Minute to Win It games and DIY Nerf Targets.
Some of these party games are even based around a holiday but even those can be adapted to most any party. Have fun searching through these silly games and make some memories!
