Get Blog Organized
If I could go back to the start of my blog and do ONE THING to make the whole “blogging experience” less bumpy from the start, it would probably be this: be organized.
Just so we’re on the same page, here was what my idea of organized looked like when I started –
This was very bad. I wasted A LOT of time trying to find things I knew I scribbled down once upon a time. I also had great ideas that got lost in the idea abyss. It was sad.
So to remedy this, and because I like projects that distract me from what I should actually be doing (um, blogging), I made these awesome blog organization printables. I can’t come up with a single good reason to keep ’em to myself, so I thought I’d share them here! There’s a page to organize your blog structure, a page to keep track of post ideas, a page to track income and expenses – (because there are costs to running a blog), one for link parties, and one for login info. (My blog binder also has extensive pinterest schedule info, but that’s coming in a later post!)
If you want a successful blog, you need to set yourself up to be successful. Don’t waste your time re-setting passwords and wondering what post goes in what category. Get on top of this stuff NOW, at the start of your journey. (Or like me, 6 months into your journey. Whatever, just start now!)
